Honduran Mahogany is a sought after tone wood that shares a similar hardness to Black Limba. Honduran Mahogany instruments will provide a warm and round tonal quality.
Honduran Mahogany may darken to reddish-brown with age. When buffed and shown in bright light, this wood may display a lustrous sheen known as "chatoyancy".
